| HSV Cricket participated in
Lenzsiedlung's Nachbarschaftsfest 2008 and had arranged Cricket
training sessions for the festival visitors.
As a kids football tournament was
being played on the other half of the same groud, it wasn't an easy
task to gather and attract people for cricket. Still HSV-Cricket
organizers Mr. Khalid Rauf and Mr. Muhammad Bilal along with young
and energetic youth Mr. Jawad Asghar did a marvelous job in
conducting the training.
They met with different group
of people in the festival, explained them the concepts and showed
them how to play. All in all many young girls as well as boys took
part in training and afterwards special HSV-Cricket training
certificates were awarded to the participants by Mr. Ali Asghar (the
regional in charge of Deutsch - Pakistanisches - Forum).
Though it took tireless efforts on HSV-Cricket
organizers part but they did pay off and cricket came out as winner.
